Skills: Partner Acrobatics, Fabric, Lyra, Fire, Yoga, Hand Balancing, Hula Hooping, French
Training: Obtained BA in Economics and French Language & Literature from Kalamazoo College in 2011. Starting MA in Education at the University of Michigan in June 2012. NECCA trapeze teacher training in Fall 2010.
Background: With a brief background in gymnastics, Colleen discovered love for circus at the collegiate club, Cirque du K, at Kalamazoo College. After being an Angels Extern in Summer 2008, she helped bring aerials to the club. Since then, Colleen has enjoyed coaching at Starfish Circus and performing with Aerial Angels as a company member. She has also taught and performed with the Detroit Flyhouse and at Astuces Children's Circus School in Chamalieres, France. With Cirque du K, she began a youth development through circus arts program in the Kalamazoo community called "Circus in the 'Zoo" and developed taught the first PE course at Kalamazoo College in circus arts Spring 2011. She is an active member in the American Youth Circus Organization.
Favorite Fruit: Michigan blueberries!
Cats: Usually don't like her.
Fact: Banana bread gives her hiccups. Without fail, every time.
