| | We love the Canadian Border!

Ahhh.clearly Max and Lady used up all the Angels' border-crossing karma. Luna, Spike and I made our way towards New Brunswick, crossing into Canada once at Detroit/Windsor, where we were stopped briefly for the usual "Hi, this is who we are, this is what we do, thank you good bye," and once more at New Brunswick/Maine after passing through New York and New England.
We smiled pretty at the border guard, a sweet blond fellow who looked like he was working his after-school job, and he sweetly sent us in to see a nice lady at Immigration. We niced right back at her, and she sent us in to Customs. Joe from Customs was happy to see us, and Joe's drug-sniffing dog wagged and wagged his tail as he searched through our car trunk, passenger seats, suitcases and under the hood, finishing with a grand licky sniffing at Spike and Isabella while Luna stood safely out of asthma range. (Note: when smuggling the bootleg Harry Potter pre-release copies, we know where to hide them).
On to New Brunswick! |
